Center for Energy Efficiency & Building Science

The CEEBS provides energy efficiency and building science courses throughout New York State.  Training is available for contractors, remodelers, college students, and high school students.

Community Colleges

Community colleges located throughout New York State have developed many green skills training courses.

CUNY's colleges across the five boroughs offer many credit-bearing courses, certificate programs, degree and non-credit training programs in sustainability and green education. 

Eligible Training Providers

The NYS Eligible Training Provider List is a comprehensive inventory of training providers and courses used by New York State Career Centers to advise customers about training available in NYS. 

High School Green Academies

High School Green Academies programs provide a basic education for students interested in pursuing careers in the green or clean tech industry.  Young students obtain a great deal of information about the green economy from these programs.  They can use this knowledge when planning for their future careers.
